Mendocino Winegrowers Alliance Announces

First Annual Mendocino Grape Growers Showcase Event

Ukiah, CA – The Mendocino Winegrowers Alliance will bring together over 75 Mendocino grape growers and potential buyers at Parducci Wine Cellars on Thursday, May 12, 2005. The event will showcase the quality and diversity of Mendocino grapes. Grape growers will pour wines their grapes help create to potential buyers invited from all over Northern California. A light lunch will be served as guest host Tom Simoneau, “The Wine Guy” from KSRO Radio, acts as master of ceremonies and introduces a panel of notable experts and industry leaders. The speakers include Mark Theis, winemaker for Kendall Jackson and renowned Chef John Ash. The speakers will focus on the quality and perception of Mendocino County grapes. Dennis Patton, consulting winemaker and local historian, will give a detailed history of the Mendocino County wine and wine grape industry. The event commences at 10:30 am.
